In the Rozenhof (garden of roses), in the center of Lottum, you will find a unique combination of a beautiful rosary and a knowledge centre. In the rose garden the finest and most beautiful roses for the Dutch and German climate are grown. Answers to all your questions about roses are to be found in the knowlegde centre.
Week of the Pot Rose
Since 2007, every month of June the Rozenhof is host for the “Week of the Pot Rose". During this week exhibitions of the best pot roses are held in the garden, as well as the national assesments for pot and container roses. Visitors can discover the many advantages and possibilities of pot roses. The purpose of the "Week of the Pot Rose" is to raise awareness to the fact that the rose is an excellent pot or tub plant for the balcony and terrace. Through the “Week of the Pot Rose” we try to improve the reputation of the rose, by making clear how many possibilities there are with roses in pots. Moreover, the "Week of the Pot Rose" is of course a great opportunity for visitors to look at these many possibilities of pot roses.
